Chad was born and raised in Upstate New York before attending the United States Military Academy, graduating in 1998 with four-year varsity letters in lacrosse. For over six years, he served as an Army Aviation officer, focused primarily on leadership and Survival Evasion Resistance Escape training for the Aviation Branch. During this time, Chad started to recognize his affinity for teaching, mentoring, and supporting soldiers to do and be their best. More than three years of consistent effort resulted in the design, construction, and certification of the only fully accredited Aviation-specific SERE Level C training facility in the Army. After being medically grounded from flight operations in 2001, he resigned from the service in 2004 with three Army Achievement Medals, two Army Commendation Medal, and a Meritorious Service Medal.

After leaving the Army, Chad spent almost nine years in the defense industry, serving as a business developer and organizational consultant for companies all over the world, especially those competing for USACE contracts in conflict zones. In 2012 he moved to Southern California, where he fully transitioned to civilian life and obtained a California Real Estate License. Throughout the next five plus years, he worked with a private investment group, learning innumerable lessons in valuation, creative finance, fix-and-flip practices, and rental management. He transitioned to the mortgage business because he loves to touch lives and have a positive impact, especially in times of stress, like making your family’s largest investment. Proficiency, integrity, and communication have always been the hallmarks of Chad’s professional career, and his mission-first attitude is now client-first, with the focus on quickly and easily financing your dream home on time and without hassle.

Chad now lives in Tampa, Florida. He is in his second full season as an assistant coach for the Saint Leo University Men’s Lacrosse team, where he is once again privileged to serve as a mentor, trainer, and motivator to great young people.
