Chan Rhee was born in Seoul, Korea. He later moved to the United State and was raised in New Hope, Minnesota. Chan attended John Hopkins University from 1994-1995 for a Pre-Law Pilot program that was between Hopkins and Georgetown. He was then recruited by UMBC in 2006 under an Honors Scholar Program for a B.A. in Political Science. While at UMBC, he also obtained several certifications in Public Administration, Judicial Ethics, International Corporate Law, Human Behavior and Psychology.

Chan has been an investment banker since 2012. He’s held Regional Sales Manager and Director of Operations positions for two national companies prior to becoming a mortgage banker in 2017. His sales approach is rooted in developing long term relationships and helping people better understand their current financial situations. Chan’s knowledge and expertise allows him to help clients develop and achieve their short-term and long-term goals.

Chan currently resides in Woodstock Howard County, Maryland with his two beautiful daughters. He loves technology and the appreciation of how it impacts our lives. He also enjoys anything related to finance, golf and especially the outdoors, specifically sport fishing.
