Carol Ryan studied business administration at SUNY of Farmingdale, business studies at Hofstra University, and received certifications in customer service and business from Dale Carnegie. She started her career in the security industry where she helped provided security and peace of mind for businesses and personal projects. Carol was very successful within her career working her way up from a clerical position to a Sales Manager overseeing corporate and four regional offices. Looking for a change, she pursued a new career in the mortgage industry in 1999. Carol started her career as a Mortgage Banker specializing in first time home buyers specifically offering seminars to educate them on the home buying process. She eventually transitioned her role to assist affinity programs including union members with a program called Hit Home that focused on educating future homeowners. Furthering her career as a Mortgage Banker, Carol was introduced to the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) in 2007, and knew this was her calling.

Carol finds the HECM program to be life changing for many older Americans as it helps provide a strategy for preserving their wealth and making retirement a dream come true. She works hard to educate her clients as well as those in the financial world about the benefits a HECM could have on enhancing their retirement plan. Carol’s goal is ensuring her clients are educated and understand the many aspects of their HECM loan. She works tirelessly for her clients to ensure they are supported throughout the entire loan process. Carol approaches each day as a gift and does the best that she can to help all of her clients.

Carol resides in the historic town of Milford, PA which boarders on New York and New Jersey. She has a large family with six children and many grandchildren that live close enough for her to enjoy their company on a regular basis. Carol is happiest when her family is spending time at her home laughing and enjoying her cooking together. Her other joys are her two rescue pups Molly and Gracie, spending time in her gardens, listening to music and sewing.
