Brian McCourt graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Business Marketing and a Minor in Economics. After graduating from college, he began his extensive career in finance and mortgage lending in the Indianapolis area as a loan officer at a credit union before pivoting to residential mortgage lending. He spent a few years with a mortgage broker before starting a company with a few partners and eventually becoming sole owner. During the housing crisis, he closed that business to focus on loan originations with a small broker before joining a large mortgage servicer in the area. He clearly comes to The Federal Savings Bank with a ton of experience.
With over 30 years of consumer and mortgage lending experience, Brian has the knowledge to work with a wide range of clients seeking help to achieve their financial goals. He takes his time to explain the mortgage lending process to his clients and what to expect. He has helped thousands of clients over the years in achieving their goals of homeownership.
For the last 33 years, Brian has lived in Carmel, Indiana. He has three boys, two of which are grown and pursuing their own careers and the third plays college hockey in northwest Indiana. When he’s not helping his clients, Brian is either traveling to see his son play hockey during the season or enjoying cooking meals for his friends and family.
