Armando Perez

Mortgage Banker

Armando Perez retired as a Lieutenant from the Los Angeles Police Department after 30 years of service. Throughout his career with the LAPD, he developed a solid foundation of interpersonal skills which led him to many special assignments including Watch Commander, Officer-In-Charge of the Gang Impact Team, and Officer-In-Charge of Detectives. During his career, Armando also sought the American dream of homeownership, and achieved it at a young age through purchasing his first investment property. He now owns several investment properties, and shares his experience on buying investment properties with fellow officers. With the purchase of his properties, Armando discovered his passion for real estate, and made a career change to become a Mortgage Banker.

Armando relies on his vast experience to help his clients achieve the dream of homeownership. He knows and understands that each of his clients are different, and works hard to help identify their immediate and long term financial goals. Armando relies on this knowledge and his strong attention to detail to help find the best loan product to meet their goals. Knowing that the mortgage process can be difficult, Armando’s goal is to create an informative and education based path to homeownership for his clients.

Outside of work, Armando is very involved with his community and is dedicated to helping his fellow officers. He established a mentoring program for officers where he coordinates career development seminars and provides career advice. Armando still currently serves as the Municipal Executives Protection Detail Officer-In-Charge where he coordinates the current and former Mayor’s day-to-day activities, and is the President of an employee association whose mission is to enhance employee effectiveness. In this capacity, he raises both awareness and money to award scholarships to both local youth and officers who are continuing their education.
