Maryland Regional Recruiter

The Federal Savings Bank is seeking an exceptional Regional Recruiter to help grow our expanding team of top-producing Loan Originators and Sales Managers up and down the East Coast. The Recruiter is expected to work out of one of our offices in the Mid-Atlantic or in New York/New Jersey and work toward building a business partnership with one of our long-time Division Directors. We are seeking a Recruiting/Sales professional that values a challenging and exciting work environment and thrives on building relationships with Hiring Managers and candidates alike.

As a recruiter with The Federal Savings Bank, your primary mission will be to coordinate and implement all active and passive recruiting initiatives in our search for new Mortgage Bankers. Your professional business acumen coupled with superior communication skills and tireless work ethic will be critical to your success as you make outbound cold calls daily, network with passive candidates and as you follow-up on candidates and other leads in process.

Meticulous attention to detail is critical as you will schedule multiple in-person interviews each week by contacting passive leads that you solicit utilizing creative sourcing and sales techniques. Your web-savvy and networking skills, such as social media, paired with an ability to act independently, will help ensure your success in meeting your goals. In addition, you will work with our Regional Division Directors and their teams on the leads they provide to you.

 Requirements

  • 2+ years of Recruiting, Residential Lending, or Inside Sales Experience (Mortgage Recruiting or Loan Origination experience preferred)
  • 4 year degree or military experience
  • Must reside in or near one of the following areas:
    • Crofton, MD
    • Fairfax, VA
    • New York, New York
  • Working to strong knowledge of mortgage terminology, industry changes, and lending platforms
  • Full cycle recruiting experience
  • Impeccable phone and email etiquette
  • Sales-Minded: Able to “pound the phones” and cold-call potential passive candidates
  • Strong Organizational Skills for Candidate tracking and coordinating calendars
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Outlook are used daily)
  • Familiar with entire Eastern seaboard market and geography
  • Experience managing a CRM database and/or Applicant Tracking Software
  • Experience with lead generation or candidate sourcing through the following channels:
    • LinkedIn (Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter preferred)
    • CareerBuilder and other Job Search engines
    • Competitor Websites and public databases
    • Employee Referrals
    • Networking events or Career Fairs
  • Experience managing and communicating confidential personal information in a secure and professional manner
  • Favorable credit standing
 
Responsibilities

  • Cold-Call potential candidates (primarily Mortgage Bankers/Loan Officers) and coordinate phone calls and face-to-face meetings for Division Directors and Senior Vice Presidents
  • Create and cultivate relationships with qualified mortgage and sales professionals
  • Sell company structure and business model to potential candidates
  • Source new candidates through self-generated efforts
  • Recruit top talent in the mortgage marketplace through sourcing and networking
  • Solicit referrals from company employees and lender representatives
  • Attend & represent the company at Real Estate and Mortgage networking events
  • Maintain CRM candidate database
  • Track candidate progress and pipeline activity through Excel tracker and CRM
  • Report recruiting pipeline and new hire updates to the Recruiting Manager and Executive Leadership Team
  • Assist candidates and Hiring Managers through full recruiting cycle from sourcing to on-boarding
  • Work with Sales Managers, Recruiting Team, On- Boarding Manager, and Payroll & Benefits to ensure candidates and new hires withy smooth transitions
  • Request and manage confidential information for candidates and sales managers
  • Conduct Credit Checks on candidates and screen for delinquencies, public records, and other derogatory marks on credit history
